My name is Nancy and I am currenrly living with an elderly lady named Patricia.We recently moved into a house so it was easier for her to get around in her wheelchair.The problem is her son had alot of people living with them in her old place and her electricity bill skyrocketed.When her and I moved to the new house alone the power company now wants a huge deposit of 400.00 which she can't afford plus we can't get help unless we pay the deposit first.She fell durring the move and broke her hip and had to be hospitalized and now she is due home by Thankgiving but can only come home if we have power.I have been on the phone everyday and can find no one who will give any help so this is my last resort.We would appreciate any and all halp we can get.I will personally donate my time to help an elderly person with all chores and cooking if someone will donate any money so Patricia can come home on Thanksgiving.
I am posting another message in hopes someone,anyone can help.I have gone to agency after agency and am getting no assistance.I have been told I can't apply for Patricias energy assistance because she is in the hospital but if the power gets shut off she can't come home at all.It seems as though I am hitting a dead end everytime I try anything.With her old bill and deposit they want650.00 to keep it on.I miss her terribly and want her home please can anyone help they are shutting it off on the first.We have rent on the first also so the most I can give them is 50.00 can someone anyone help my new found family get back together.
I need assistance my mother whom I care for fell and broke her hip and had to have surgery.We thought we would be doing better as we just received our section8 housing.We had just got moved in when she fell and then we got our utility bill with an added deposit.We don't have the money as I do not get paid to care for her I just do it because I love her,you see she isn't actually my blood mom(mine died a year ago)I never had a chance to make amends with her,I feel through Patricia GOD has given me a second chance and now they say she can't come home without power.She will now be on oxygen cause they found 2 blocked arteries in her heart.If anyone can help me or knows anyone who can please e-mail me:shadacres@hotmail.com
